Examples of Duties
Prepare course materials for a variety of freshman- and sophomore-level applied lessons in a variety of instruments
Instruct face-to-face classes only
Assess student performance in a variety of modalities
Communicate feedback to students regarding their performance
Engage in frequent and reliable verbal and written communication with students and campus personnel
Typical Qualifications
A Master's degree in Music (or a minimum of 18 graduate-level credit hours in Music) is required for this position.
This position may also be required to teach web classes and to keep class records using Canvas and Banner. Computer skills are also preferred for using technology in the classroom.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The ability to work flexible hours and regular attendance at work are essential functions of this position.
