What are the responsibilities and job description for the Scaffold Builder Helper position at GULF ISLAND LLC?
Main Purpose:
To perform scaffolding helper functions required and assigned in the fabrication of iron as steel structures per contract/job specifications and quality assurance requirements/scaffolding procedures and established ISO-QA/QC program standards.
Essential Duties:
- Erects and dismantles scaffolding to provide safe work platforms.
- Fits together steel pipe, support braces, and clamps.
- Lifts and positions scaffolding, bolts pipe, and places planks.
- Uses various hand tools.
- Perform additional duties as directed by the foreman.
- Performs all duties in a safe manner and in accordance with operating procedures.
- Other duties may be assigned.
