H&R Block is Hiring a Director, Internal Communications Near Kansas City, MO
As the Director of Internal Communications, you will:
- Lead a team and work with senior leaders to communicate our Purpose and transformation strategy across Block, managing communication channel effectiveness
- Partner with Block’s People and Culture department to communicate our employer brand and make Block a sought-after employer
- Partner with the Director of Belonging to ensure all communications are representative and deliver in a way that creates an environment in which every associate feels safe to bring their authentic self to work
- Lead and oversee internal digital platforms, tailoring communication for distinct audiences
- Assess efficacy and lead rigorous analysis of success metrics
- Use data to propose and test new communication solutions
- Lead large format associate meetings
- Support executive communication as necessary, including ownership of an internal editorial calendar
- Prepare senior leaders for events
- Collaborate with external communication leads on the company’s LinkedIn strategy
