What are the responsibilities and job description for the Copywriter position at Hårklinikken?
The Role
As our Copywriter you will be the guardian of the Hårklinikken brand tone of voice, while being fully responsible for all copy-driven programs and projects. Your primary goal will be to bring to life our vibrant and unexpected brand tone across platforms, while delivering precise copy that supports both our brand building and commercial ambitions.
Working collaboratively and cross functionally, you will deliver thoughtful written content that succinctly conveys Hårklinikken’s unique point of view and value proposition and maximises the impact of visual content and communications.
Primary Relationships
Reporting to the Head of Marketing & Brand, the Copywriter has primary working relationships with the Marketing & Brand Team, Chief Scientific Officer & Founder.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and create meaningful stories around Hårklinikken and its global community that will drive consumer reach, brand equity, community building, and earned media value.
- Write high-quality copy that embodies our vibrant and unexpected brand tone of voice guidelines, and connects emotionally with our target audience.
- Work closely with across teams to develop fit-for-purpose copy for all areas of our website that prioritises clear and effective communication whilst also consistently bringing to life our brand personality.
- Write captivating copy for new service emails in our customer journey to keep our customers engaged and informed.
- Develop compelling concepts, subject lines, body copy and CTAs for our email marketing campaigns.
- Research, plan and write informative and inspiring long form copy for our education section.
- Write attention-grabbing marketing copy for our paid search and social ads.
- Research, plan and write on-brand educational guides and FAQs for our website and customer experience communications.
- Be involved in the creative process of naming our new products and ranges.
- Write informative press releases related to our latest company initiatives.
Core Competencies
- Precise use of language and grammar gained from 4 years’ experience as a writer.
- Experience within haircare, skincare, beauty, health or wellness industry preferrable.
- A meticulous attention to detail coupled with the ability & willingness to work at pace.
- Thorough knowledge of the principles and implementation of SEO.
- The ability to become immersed in a brand's tone of voice, always having target customer and their needs front of mind when writing brand copy.
- Experience in, or an eagerness to learn, how to use data and analytics to inform and optimise creative.
- Exceptional organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
- Great collaboration skills and a willingness to work in a fast-paced start-up environment.
- You act for the greater good of all teams, even when it’s beyond your area of expertise.
- An obsession with skincare, beauty or hair & scalp health is also advantageous.
