Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide assistance as needed to ensure a welcoming atmosphere.
- Process cash and card transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Handle cash with care, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Assist customers with product inquiries and provide product demonstrations to enhance their shopping experience.
- Maintain an organized and stocked sales floor by restocking shelves and ensuring products are displayed effectively.
- Engage in upselling techniques to promote additional products or services that may benefit customers.
- Supervise junior staff members when needed, providing guidance and support in daily operations.
- Perform basic math calculations for transactions and inventory management.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service or retail sales is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory counts.
- Experience with cash handling and familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
