Established ENT Clinic seeking an active Licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist or Trainee to acquire state licensing (2 years of higher education required) to join our team of dedicated ENT professionals.
Skills / Competencies / Job Duties
Work independently managing the hearing aid department and its services:
- Utilizing computer software for general office duties and programming of hearing devices
- Performing hearing testing, counseling, prescribing and programming hearing devices
- Facilitating sales orders, payments, invoice management, sales tax reports and insurance processing
- Documenting patient records, procedures and continuity of follow up care with patients
- Maintaining all diagnostic hearing equipment and maintain annual recording of state calibration service requirements
- Demonstrating professional work ethic, with empathy, care, and compassion for the hearing impaired of all ages
