What are the responsibilities and job description for the Preconstruction Administrative Assistant position at Hamel Builders, Inc.?
Hamel Builders, Inc. is searching for a full-time Estimating Administrative Assistant to assist in the accurate and timely completion of the preconstruction process. Qualified candidates will have experience in the construction industry and possess the ability to work as part of a team and prioritize tasks in order to meet deadlines.
Responsibilities:
· Maintains and updates Bid Board Weekly.
· Maintains and updates Davis Bacon Wage Scale file weekly.
· Point of contact for service calls and responsible for maintaining the supplies for the Estimating printer.
· Schedules and attends subcontractor Outreach for all projects requiring minority participation.
· Schedules meetings for the Estimating Conference Room and Estimating Team.
· Establish / Manages Customer and Subcontractor Relationship Databases utilizing Building Connected on a regulated basis.
· Updates all changes to subcontractor and supplier contacts in Building Connected.
· Point of contact for receiving, archiving, and ordering all plans and specs.
· Assists with preparation of Contract Exhibits with Contract Compliance Manager
· Assist Senior Estimators and Estimators, in the background, for Invitations to bid.
· Receives all qualification forms and bid details requests from the Hamel website.
· Creates and maintains all job files in the W/Drive.
· Maintains bid binders (or creates a process).
· Assists in organization and preparation of Turnovers, Prebid Meetings, Internal Coordination Meetings, and Post Turnovers.
· Schedules Lunch & Learns and other subcontractor visits.
· Coordinates marketing events i.e., Bluebook Showcase.
· Assists in the turnover of all contract documents to the PM team; uploads drawings and specifications to Procore.
· Maintains Estimating manuals.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
