What are the responsibilities and job description for the Garden Center Merchandiser position at Hampshire Farms?
Garden Center Merchandiser position available for Immediate Hire in Brooklyn Park, MN. This position will be traveling to other locations (such as Plymouth, Richfield, Bloomington & more) to help set up and maintain the holiday products. It will be Monday - Friday, working in all weather and heavy lifting is required.
Enjoy a delightful job at your local Home Depot Garden Center. You will be exclusively tending to the houseplants from Hampshire Farms. If you have a passion for plants, this may be what you've been looking for!
Job requirements include:
- Setting up/organizing plants onto display tables according to specifications
- Watering, pruning, and inspecting plants
- Sweeping, breaking down boxes, and cleaning area
- Morning availability is a must
- Must be able to work weekends
- Must be able to work independently
- Must be dependable and communicative
- Must be able to lift 30-35lbs regularly as well as pushing/twisting/pulling/reaching/bending
- Must have and use your smartphone
The ideal person is self-directed, takes initiative, and is fine with working on their own at the store. Experience not required.
