Housekeeper

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our facilities, ensuring a welcoming and comfortable environment for all guests. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, hallways, and common areas to ensure high standards of cleanliness are met.
• Conduct floor care including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces.
• Manage housekeeping supplies and report any shortages or needs for replenishment.
• Ensure all cleaning equipment is maintained in good working condition.
• Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, kitchens, and other areas.
• Assist with laundry services as needed, including washing, drying, folding, and storing linens.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment at all times.
• Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to guest requests or concerns.

Skills

• Proven experience in housekeeping or custodial roles within hospitality settings such as hotels or resorts is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of housekeeping management practices and industrial cleaning techniques.
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
• Good communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members.
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
