Feed Driver
Location: Cromwell, IN
Happy Egg is growing fast, and we’re seeking a reliable and safety-minded Feed Driver based in the Cromwell, IN area. This role is critical to supporting our farmers by ensuring timely delivery of feed to their operations. What You’ll Do
- Feed Delivery: Deliver and unload feed at farmer feed bins using an auger feed trailer.
- Route Coverage: Travel local routes in Indiana and complete 2-3 overnight trips to Kentucky weekly.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate a 2024 International Truck to transport feed and ensure on-time deliveries.
- Safety and Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and DOT regulations.
- Customer Focus: Build positive relationships with farmers by providing excellent service and communication.
What You’ll Bring to the Table
- CDL Experience: Hold a valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
- Physical Readiness: Ability to climb, lift, and unload feed at farmer locations.
- Proven Reliability: Demonstrate a commitment to timeliness, attention to detail, and maintaining safety standards.
- Experience: Previous experience with auger feed trailers and agricultural deliveries is highly preferred.
- Flexibility: Willingness to stay overnight 2-3 times per week to complete Kentucky routes.
