What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Manager of Operations position at Harada Industry of America, Inc.?
Tier 1 Auto Supplier in need of an Operations Manager at our Warehouse / Distribution facility, working closely with our Headquarters in Japan, and our Manufacturing Facilities located in Mexico and Asia.
Responsibilities include:
- Oversee Operations/Purchasing and Warehouse Department daily operations
- Maintain & improve delivery performance and customer satisfaction
- Coordinate communications with internal departments, OEM customers, and overseas manufacturing facilities
- Maintain customer and company guided requirements for safety stock and inventory levels
- Oversee inventory management processes and controls to avoid inventory obsolescence and abnormal expenses
- Review and approval of production orders
- Develop value-added metrics and generate associated reporting
- Develop and maintain departmental budgets
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree and 5-8 years in the automotive industry distribution, operations, and supply chain logistics management
- Must have strong employee management skills
- Experience in MRP, EDI and inventory systems knowledge
- Experience desired with MFG/PRO (QAD), DDL & SMART
- Spanish and/or Japanese language a Plus!

Salary : $100,000 - $130,000
