POSITION OVERVIEW:
Harbor Health seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Infusion Center team. This role is crucial in delivering member-centered infusion care while upholding clinical excellence and safety standards in our innovative healthcare model.
POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform comprehensive health assessments and deliver safe infusion treatments according to prescribed protocols
- Communicate thoroughly and effectively with patients, family, caregivers to ensure comfort and safety with their care
- Manage infusion reactions and provide thorough patient education about treatments and disease states
- Coordinate care between patients, prescribers, and internal teams while maintaining detailed electronic documentation
- Collaborate with Clinicians, Specialists, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, and Pharmacist as needed to optimize patient care and treatment plans
- Demonstrate expertise in peripheral line placement and port access
- Monitor and interpret vital signs while ensuring patient safety and comfort
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements and safety protocols
- Demonstrate proficiency with technology and information management
- Current RN license required
- BSN preferred but not required
- CRNI preferred but not required
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience with at least 2 - 3 years in infusion therapy
- Critical care experience preferred
- Current BLS certification
- Strong technical competency with electronic medical records and Microsoft Office
- Excellence in patient communication and education
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and prioritize effectively
- Works well in a team environment
- Physical ability to perform required duties including lifting and repetitive motions
