Job Description:

Tellers are an integral part of HarborOne’s branch operations. Tellers complete transactions while educating and engaging customers in conversations that provide financial solutions. This position requires a knowledge of all branch products and services, operational systems, and applications/technologies. Quality

• Balances cash drawer, adheres to branch cash limits within set guidelines, and scans work daily.
• Performs face-to-face customer transactions for a variety of financial transactions.
• Consistently produce error free work.

Customer Experience

• Provides exceptional customer service by meeting all customer requests.
• Be the face of HarborOne Bank by presenting a professional, friendly and helpful appearance with every customer interaction.
• Educates and engages customers on additional financial solutions through rapport building conversations.

Profitable Relationships

• Engage customers in conversations that provide a variety of financial solutions that satisfy their needs, including but not limited to; making referrals to partners as necessary and leveraging digital banking platforms.
• Actively participate in all bank-wide sales campaigns and programs.

Job Knowledge

• Ensure compliance with all financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide assistance as needed to reconcile ATMs, Coin Machine, Night Depository, and Branch Settlement.
• Possesses adequate knowledge and stays up to date with systems, products, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months of related experience.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task and balance multiple priorities.
• Excellent in person communication skills.
• Educates and engages customers in conversations regarding their current and future financial needs.
• Possess outgoing team ordinated sales personality with outstanding verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Exudes confidence with customers, self-motivated and the ability to adapt quickly to change.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Desired Skills:

• Experience with servicing of customers and cash handling in a fast-paced sales, retail, hospitality, or banking environment is beneficial.

Compensation:

The base pay range for this position is $21.00/Hourly - $23.00/Hourly. Offers will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
