Responsibilities
JOB SUMMARY
The Fountain Worker is responsible for greeting our guests, providing excellent customer service for our guests, taking and completing orders, handling cash transactions, completing side work, and unloading and stocking deliveries. All duties are performed in accordance to company policies and procedures.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

- Greeting our guests and providing excellent customer service.
- Take and place order, serve and garnish food and drinks efficiently and accurately in work area as applicable.
- Collect money, while following all proper cash handling and comp procedures.
- Maintain the cleanliness, sanitation, and the appearance of the front and back of house, clear tables and counters; sweep and maintain the cleanliness of the dining area without interfering with the comfort of guests.
- Pack and complete order as per guests' preference with any necessary condiments.
- Properly label and date products per safety and sanitation procedures.
- Perform opening and closing duties based upon shift assignment.
- Unload warehouse orders and stock the orders to designated storage maintaining organization, stock and replenish products as needed in work station, counters, tables, etc.
- Responsible to assist with side work as assigned.
- Resolve guest complaints within scope of authority; otherwise, refer the matter to management, notify supervisor and/or Security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft
- Perform other job-related duties as requested.
Qualifications
EDUCATION AND /OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- One (1) year of guest service experience
- One (1) year of experience with cash handling
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Previous experience working in a similar resort setting.
- Previous experience working varied shifts.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Valid Alcohol Awareness Card
- Valid Health Card
- Union Referral
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Knowledge of menu items, including mixing and serving beverages, standard beverage recipes, preparation methods, glassware, garnishes, products, menu items, supplies and equipment.
- Knowledge of standard kitchen equipment, including, but not limited to toasters, refrigerators and coolers, slicers and beverage machines.
- Knowledge of health, safety and sanitation regulations.
- Basic computer skills and experience with varied Point of Sale (POS) systems.
- Able to handle multiple types of information and/or perform multiple tasks.
- Excellent customer service skills as well as interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts.
