About the Role
As a Territory Sales Manager, you will drive the sales to maximize revenue within the Upper Midwest region. You will need a deep understanding of professional audio-visual products and solutions, a passion for building strong customer relationships, and the ability to meet and exceed sales targets. This role requires strategic thinking, excellent communication skills, and a strong technical aptitude in the Audio / Video industry.
Your Team
You will report to the Director of Sales.
What You Will Do
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets by collaborating with Harman customers, partners, Independent Sales Representatives, and internal stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers, systems integrators, consultants, and end-users, while providing exceptional customer service and acting as a trusted advisor for Pro Audio / Video solutions.
- Identify new business opportunities and routes to market, expand the customer base, and nurture existing accounts to drive loyalty and repeat business.
- Conduct regular sales forecasting, analysis, and reporting to track performance, and monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitive activities.
- Develop a pipeline and maintain CRM records to assist in sales forecasts and ensure customer demand is met from both new and existing accounts.
- Deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations to highlight HARMAN's value proposition and differentiate from competitors.
What You Need
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- 5 years of experience in selling or designing professional Audio / Video or Unified Communication solutions.
- Experience working with systems integrators.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems, sales analytics tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Customer-centric approach to exceed customer expectations and cultivate long-term relationships.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities to navigate a competitive market space.
- Be organized with exceptional time management skill and have superior follow-up and execution.
What is Nice to Have
- Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) Certification.
- Previous job history with a competitive equipment manufacturer and/or systems integration company.

Salary : $105,000 - $154,000
