$14.00 - $17.85 PER HOUR Evenings and weekendsGENERAL PURPOSE:The purpose of this position is to sell Harmons’ fresh kitchen items by providing remarkable customer service. This person will package product, fill shelves, stock the kitchen department, ensure cleanliness of the department, assist in other areas of the kitchen as needed, and provide exceptional customer service.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Follows established departmental and store policies and proceduresEnsures the quality and freshness of all products and services the kitchen providesResponsible for maintaining the appropriate product assortment and inventory levels for the kitchenConfirms pricing accuracy and signage for all products, paying particular attention to ad itemsEnsures the kitchen is cleaned and sanitized daily and meets the company standards for appearanceServes chef prepared salads and entrees from the chef caseSlices meats and cheeses to orderDelivers excellent customer service to all customersPackages kitchen products and puts them out on the sales floorRe-stocks the kitchen department and helps sort and put away kitchen products when deliveries come inAssists as needed throughout the kitchen departmentMARGINIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Performs other job-related duties as assigned.NATURE OF WORK CONTACTS:Consistent and daily interaction with store associatesConsistent and daily interaction with customersTRAINING & QUALIFICATIONS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
