As an Outside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with customers in the chemical and industrial spaces. You'll identify and capitalize on new business opportunities while nurturing relationships with our existing client base. Your role will be key in growing our footprint in the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and establish contact with potential customers in the chemical and industrial markets
- Schedule and perform product demonstrations to showcase the value of our solutions
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with existing customers
- Attend industry trade shows to network and generate new business leads
- Stay informed about industry trends to spot new opportunities
- Collaborate with management to recommend targeted marketing strategies based on regional or demographic needs
- Prepare and submit detailed sales reports to management
Requirements:
- 10 years of sales experience in the chemical and/or industrial sectors
- Proven track record of selling pipe, valves, pumps, and tanks into chemical and water applications
- Strong ability to identify customer needs and provide solutions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build lasting customer relationships
- Ability to travel as needed to attend trade shows, visit customers, and drive sales in your territory
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently
