What are the responsibilities and job description for the VDC Project Manager position at Harris Brand?
The purpose of your role as a VDC Project Manager
As a VDC Project Manager, you will work closely with both internal and external stakeholders and will manage BIM/VDC scope, BIM/VDC execution plans and other contractual documents to ensure accurate and timely delivery. Represent Harris BIM/VDC to internal and external clients and project partners.
Project Projection and Progress:
- Identify and monitor Project Milestones pertinent to the BIM/VDC scope across the project portfolio
- Identify, request, and document delivery of inputs (budget, fabrication schedule, submittals, etc) to the BIM/VDC Process
- Assist VDC Sr Managers in performing project reviews and labor cost analysis
- Assist VDC Managers and VDC Sr Managers in forecasting labor needs and tracking
- Manage Outsource detailing projects (scope, schedule, budget, and client relationship)
Stakeholder Engagement / BRM:
- Develop relationships with company stakeholders that positively influence collaboration and operational changes.
- Assist VDC Constructability Managers in developing relationships with fabrication shops & facilities and field teams to streamline processes and drive operational efficiencies.
Standards and Procedures:
- Champion adoption of on all BIM/VDC enterprise implementations.
- Contribute to creating frameworks to successfully evolve BIM/VDC processes.
Business Development:
- Provide input to the VDC Sr Managers and BIM/VDC Directors to create BIM/VDC marketing material.
What we're looking for in you
- 4 years of drafting/design in mechanical construction industry or AEC experience with BIM/CAD training.
- 4 years of construction techniques and field limitations experience
- 4 years of experience with detailing and coordination software such as Revit, AutoCAD, Autodesk Fabrication and Navisworks
- 1 year of proven experience building, leading, coaching, and developing a team
- Associates degree preferred in drafting/design, or field related experience

Pay Range: $82,747 - $124,120 per year
The actual salary offer will vary by candidate based on a wide range of factors such as specific skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
