SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:
Administers human resource policies, programs and practices, including planning, organizing, developing, implementing, coordinating and directing. Duties include formulating policies and procedures, recommending policies and practices to executive management. Responsible for all human resource functions, including hiring and terminations, compensation and benefits, legal compliance, safety and risk management, performance management and HR training. Supervises HR Coordinator and Building Services in Springdale.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Broad knowledge of such fields as advanced business administration, Human Resources, etc. Equivalent to 4 years of college, plus:
Equivalent combination of education and experience considered.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Professional in Human Resources Certification through HRCI or SHRM.
State driver s license, auto insurance, auto registration, acceptable driving record.
PREFERRED CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Senior Professional in Human Resources Certification through HRCI or SHRM, preferred.
SOFTWARE SKILLS REQUIRED:
___ Basic _X__ Intermediate ___ Advanced
Specific Programs and/or skills:
Post hire HRS specialty software training as needed.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS:
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and policy/procedure manuals; Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Ability to successfully manage conflict, maintain an environment of trust and open communications; as well as, foster a positive, respectful and cooperative culture.
