Job Summary :
We are seeking a Hazmat Class A CDL Driver with doubles, and tanker endorsements to load, deliver, unload, and pick up products and supplies from various local customers.
Must be a dependable, responsible person with a positive attitude that is concerned with customer satisfaction. Must have current endorsements and adhere to all DOT regulations.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Be able to perform pre and post-trip inspections of vehicles, trailers, and equipment.
- Safe and timely pick up and drop off of product and supplies.
- Must check all paperwork for accuracy.
- Must be able to communicate with dispatch for delivery and pickup coordination.
- Must be able to walk, drive, lift, and carry heavy items for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to pass a background check, hold a TWIC card, and pass a drug screen.
- Strong time management and customer service skills.
- Must be detail-oriented and well organized.
- Effective and professional communication skills.
- Dependable and punctual.
Education / Experience :
- High school diploma or equivalent or equivalent job description.
- Clean driving record.
- Valid driver’s license with current Class A, Hazmat, Doubles, Tanker endorsements.
- 1-2 years of experience as a Hazmat driver.
