What are the responsibilities and job description for the Elementary Teacher position at Hawaii Children's Discovery Center?
The Children’s Discovery Center is a hands-on interactive learning environment designed to inspire children and parents to learn together through play. We are looking for professional, highly motivated staff to develop themed lessons and educational programs, facilitate play in our exhibit galleries, and teach classes and programs. Candidates should be outgoing, energetic individuals who have a passion for working with children in an informal learning environment. Must be reliable, have strong organizational skills, a team player, and have excellent time management and attention to detail.
The Center is closed on Mondays, so the position requires working one weekend day.
