Role Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Controller to join our dynamic team and oversee our financial operations.
Position Overview: As the Controller, you will play a critical role in managing the financial health of our company. You will be responsible for overseeing all accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and providing strategic financial insights to support decision-making. Your role will involve managing financial records and processes, while working closely with operations management and other departments.
Key Responsibilites
- Financial Reporting:
- Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements through ERP system
- Maintain financial reporting systems and processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency, leveraging through available technology
- Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Lead the annual budgeting process, working with department heads to develop comprehensive budgets
- Monitor budget performance, analyze variances, and provide recommendations for corrective actions
- Prepare financial forecasts and projections to support strategic planning and decision-making
- Accounting Operations:
- Oversee all accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, budgeting, and payroll
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of transactions, reconciliations, and month-end closing processes
- Manage cash flow, including monitoring bank balances, overseeing cash management
- Manage finance portion of ERP system, along with integration with other functions including rent processing functions
- Team Leadership and Development:
- Supervise and mentor the accounting team, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback
- CPA or CFA certification is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
