We are currently hiring:
1) PT Housekeeper to work Sat & Sun from 5pm-10pm
Basic Qualifications:
No prior experience required.
Entry-level position.
Reliable and have transportation to get to work.
Background check & Mantoux (TB) screening required for all employees.
Physical Requirements: This position demands good physical and mental health. The housekeeper will be required to lift, carry, walk, sit, push, pull and work a flexible schedule, must be able to move continuously during work hours and able to lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds.
General Responsibilities
Follow cleaning schedule which consists of but is not limited to:
- Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms and other work areas so that health standards are met.
- Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and/or draperies, using vacuum cleaners and/or shampooers.
- Empty wastebaskets and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas.
- Sweep and mop flooring
- Dust and polish furniture and equipment.
- Keep storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy.
- Replace light bulbs.
- Replenish supplies such as drinking glasses, linens, writing supplies, and bathroom items.
- Sort clothing and other articles, load washing machines, and fold dried items.
- Sort, count, and mark clean linens, and store them in linen closets.
- Wash windows, walls, ceilings, and woodwork, waxing and polishing as necessary.
- Wash resident clothing articles as designated by schedule.
- Disinfect equipment and supplies, using germicides or steam-operated sterilizers.
- Hang draperies, and dust window blinds.
- Move and arrange furniture and turn mattresses.
- Observe precautions required to protect facility and client property, and report damage, theft, and found articles to supervisors.
Experience:
Six months to a year of housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.
