Educational Therapists (Part-time)

Hayutin Education specializes in working one-on-one with students of all ages and learning profiles. We are currently seeking dynamic, experienced educators looking for part-time in-person work who can commit to any given student for the duration of the 2024-25 academic school year. Our students vary in age and ability, from K-12th grade, gifted to mildly learning disabled.  This is a part-time role and provides supplementary income only.  **Driving to in-person sessions is an essential job function for this position.

Our educational therapists specialize in working with students with a wide range of diagnosed learning disabilities, and must be able to author academic treatment plans, provide informal assessments, interpret educational evaluations, and be skilled in advocating for students with special needs by communicating with students, faculty and administrators to implement academic accommodations.

The work is often a combination of remedial programming in reading, writing and mathematics, and educational support within the framework of the student's actual schoolwork. Executive functioning skill-building and study skills/organization are frequently needed.

Ideally, we are looking for educational therapists available to work in:

• Greater Los Angeles areas: Santa Monica, Santa Monica, Brentwood, Pacific Palisades, Bel-Air, Westwood, West Los Angeles, Mar Vista/Palms, Culver City, Venice, Marina del Rey, Westchester, Beverly Hills, Miracle Mile, Hancock Park, Silver Lake, Los Feliz
• San Gabriel Valley and San Fernando Valley areas: Pasadena, Altadena, Sierra Madre, San Marino, Burbank, Studio City, Sherman Oaks, Encino, Tarzana

Pay: $90.00 - $95.00 per hour for in-person sessions, commensurate with experience.  **Occasionally students might need to meet virtually due to special circumstances.  Pay for virtual sessions would be in the range of $70.00 - $75.00 per hour.
