Responsibilities:
- Obtain vital signs (temperature, heart rate, pulse ox, blood pressure, and weight)
- Insert saline/heparin locks
- Insert and irrigate urinary catheters
- Perform basic and advance cardiac life support
- Apply sterile dressings, removing sutures or staples
- Assist with pelvic examination
- Perform EKGs
- Cleanse and irrigate wounds
- Administer oral medications
- Apply splints (i.e. volar, thumb Spica, ulnar gutter, posterior leg splints)
- Initiate routine lab tests after consultation with provider
- Swab mucous membranes for culture specimens
- Administer and read TB skin tests
- Perform venipuncture
- Administer intramuscular, subcutaneous, intravenous, intradermal medications
- Remain flexible for cross training
- Occasionally take on tasks outside the normal scope of practice
- Observe, identify, and do what is needed to move us forward in a way that best represents who we are as an organization
- Other duties as needed to help drive our vision, fulfill our mission, and abide by our Organization's Values
Full-time, 12 hour shifts, rotating weekends
Salary - $21 & up/hour, depending on experience

All newly hired employees must participate in a 4-day training session in Texarkana, TX as part of their onboarding process.
