Responsibilities:

• Assist patients to exam rooms
• Obtain vital signs
• Document inpatient computer record histories and chief complaint
• Prepare patients for exams and procedures including position, draping, shaving, and disinfecting treatment sites.
• Assist with exams, perform visual acuities, and invasive procedures
• Place leads and perform EKGs
• Perform ear lavages, remove sutures or staples from superficial wounds
• Apply basic dressings
• Collect and label urine and stool specimens
• Draw blood and obtain any other specimens ordered by provider
• Run all lab work
• Splint application
• Collect and sterilize supplies, rooms, and equipment
• Prepare abscess and laceration trays, supplies for pelvic exams
• Measure for crutches and crutch teaching
• Remain flexible for cross training
• Occasionally take on tasks outside the normal scope of practice
• Observe, identify, and do what is needed to move us forward in a way that best represents who we are as an organization
• Other duties as needed to help drive our vision, fulfill our mission, and abide by our Organization's Values

Pay: $11/hour & up

12 hour shifts
