Salary : $22-$25 per hour
St Paul Rheumatology is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to join our team. This position's hours will be Monday through Thursday from 8am to 4pm, and Friday's from 8am-12pm.

Our growing practice has two locations in the twin cities in Eagan and Roseville.
Duties :
Deliver high quality and efficient patient care services including rooming patients, collecting patient history, documenting visit content, relaying instructions to patients / families, and communicating pertinent clinical information.
Provide direct assistance to physician with medical procedures such as ultrasounds, injections, bone density scans, MRIs and other procedures as necessary.
Administer biologic and other injections.
Submit medication refill requests, prior authorizations and appeals.
Perform lab draws, triage phone calls, review results management, enter and create patent lab orders, process specimens and prepare for shipment daily.
Prepare exam rooms for daily activities i.e. clean, organize and stock rooms with necessary supplies, turn on medical / equipment, etc.
Maintains knowledge of, and complies with, all relevant laws, regulations and policies, procedures and standards
Order lab supplies, and schedule lab appointments when necessary.
Necessary Qualifications :
Medical Assistant Certification from an accredited school.
If not certified, must have medical assistant diploma
Must have Phlebotomy experience.
Prior medical assistant experience in clinic setting.
Demonstrated ability or experience in patient flow management, medical assisting, and confidential management of patient health information.
Ability to multi-task and to provide services to patients in a warm, professional manner.
Electronic Health Record experience; must be comfortable with technology.
Must be proficient using a computer and computer systems.
