$500 sign on bonus.
Astoria Place of Cincinnati is looking for a full-time floor tech with experience in housekeeping and floor cleaning maintenance. We are a 98 bed long-term care facility and our passion is our residents. A love and respect for the residents is a must for this position.
Job description
Employees are moving and on their feet the entire shift length (8 hours). Walking, bending and squatting are done throughout the shift.
Duties
- Cleaning/stocking restrooms and break rooms throughout the facility
- Maintaining other common areas including lobbies and entrances
- Fulfilling resident and management requests during the day
- Dusting
- Vacuuming
- Emptying garbage cans
- Sweeping/mopping floors
- Cleaning tables
Requirements
- Ability to effectively and positively communicate with residents and fellow employees/supervision
- Prompt and very consistent attendance critical
- Strong work ethic and ability to perform duties with restricted communications while in resident areas
- Good physical health – job requires good fitness/strength, including an ability to walk throughout the day and move heavier loads (up to 35lbs.) as required
