DescriptionHealthFitness has an excellent opportunity foraMassage Therapist at our client site in East Hanover, NJ. In this position, you will be responsible for administering professional massage services to a wide variety of members and guests.Part-time schedule will consist of working1 day bi-weekly on a Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday from 10am-2pm to begin, number of hours can change in the future. The number of hours will be based on number of clients.Duties & Responsibilities:Performnumerous massage modalities and adjust delivery mode to address the needs of each customer.General understanding of bodytreatments and be willing and able to learn the products and servicesprovided.Therapist must be willing andcapable to deliver on site chair massage and table massage in a corporate setting(incidental travel, set-up and tear down) in addition to a spa likeenvironment within a fitness center.Must function as an active memberof an integrated health and wellness team and support department wideevents and strategies.Education, Experience & Certifications:Massage Therapy License for thestate of New Jersey required.Current Adult CPR/AED and First Aidcertifications from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.1-2 years of massage therapyexperience required.Sports massage techniques a plus.Good communication skills;listening and verbal.Applicants must meet hiring requirements including but not limited to pre-employment drug test.Will be required to follow any current or future site COVID-19 vaccination policies including but not limited to proof of vaccination, weekly testing, etc.You may be eligible to receive additional information about the compensation and benefits for this role, which we will provide upon request.
