Job Description
The Scheduling Coordinator provides patient appointment scheduling and customer service functions including scheduling appointments, patient reception, appointment check-in, and insurance verification for patients in the Radiology Department.
Work Schedule:
- Per diem, primarily mornings with occasional evenings and weekends. Must pick up at least one shift per month.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Two years of experience in direct customer/patient service, or one year of experience internally within the Regions Radiology Department.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Two years of post-secondary education in healthcare or business administration.
- Healthcare scheduling experience.
- Epic electronic medical record system experience.
Additional Information:
This is a non-union per diem (0 set hours per pay period) position working in Saint Paul, MN. The full salary range for this position is $19.26-$28.89 per hour, based on experience and internal equity. This position is non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act, and not eligible for benefits.
