In our Card Services Representative role, you'll learn skills that will benefit you throughout your Heartland career while encouraging you to dream big.
What you will be doing:
- Receive and analyze card dispute and fraud claims from members and internal staff to determine the appropriate resolutions
- Troubleshoot common card issues and perform card maintenance
- Knowledge of Regulation E, Regulation Z, and Mastercard requirements
- Review and process daily settlement reports and FIS reports to ensure proper tracking of fraud case statuses and posting of time sensitive credits and/or debits
- Work closely with the Fraud Investigation team to alert and assist with card fraud events
What you will need:
- Financial experience (one to two years)
- Debit/credit card operations experience (preferred)
- Regulation E & Z compliance experience (preferred)
- Fundamental knowledge of computer systems and operational use
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Demonstrated ability to produce documents, spreadsheets, databases, etc. with Windows-based software
- Ability to promote a professional image of the credit union at all times
