Education And/or Experience
Three months of related assembly or sewing experience and/or an assembly certificate or equivalent combination of training and experience. Must have a working knowledge of soldering techniques and the ability to read a ruler and schematics.
Computer Skills
Computer skills are not required for this position.
Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend work instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple instructions. Ability to effectively relay information one-on-one to other employees and management.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to apply concepts of arithmetic and algebra to calculate measurements for cutting material.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Production Assembly
- Perform electro-mechanical assembly of components to produce sub-assemblies in accordance with provided documentation and standard shop procedures. This will include: cutting, measuring, and rolling material; applying plugs and leads to silicone; wiring, inputting pins, soldering lead wires and testing equipment.
- Maintain complete and accurate documentation including work orders and time clock punches.
- Document and account for all materials used and time expended.
- Verify bills of materials to reflect actual parts used or configuration changes.
- Provide input to production process improvement.
- Perform facilities maintenance, upgrades, and new installations, as directed.
- Maintain a clean and organized working environment.
- Participate in work area clean-up activity at end of day and end of week.
