Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals. As a Direct Support Professional, you will provide essential care and support to individuals in need, promoting their independence and well-being.
Responsibilities
- Assist individuals with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration
- Support individuals in community integration and participation in social activities
- Implement behavior management strategies to support individuals with challenging behaviors
- Monitor and record vital signs as required
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for individuals in group home or personal care home settings
Qualifications
- Previous experience in caregiving, home care, or related fields is preferred
- Knowledge of medication administration and behavior management techniques
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong communication skills and empathy towards individuals with diverse needs
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is a plus
