As our Administrative Assistant, you will provide administrative support to multiple departments. You’ll start everyday planning and prioritizing work activities, using time efficiently and effectively. You will be called upon to assist in communication and management of Safety data, along with other intra department functions as requested. To thrive in this role, you will manage all Safety related administrative functions, working closely with other departments on administrative needs, and coordinate with the Payroll Administrator. You must know how to work independently and be available to occasionally work nights and weekends if necessary.

The Greens Creek Mine, located on Admiralty Island 18 miles south of Juneau, is an underground polymetallic mine operating since 1989, employing approximately 450 people. • Training first. We provide training on our systems and procedures. We currently use Ellipse and ADP HRIS software.
• Apply your administrative skills using Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and HRIS systems.
• You will help in auditing various Safety and Intra-Department functions to ensure accuracy and integrity of processes.
• You will be a valuable resource for employees on many administrative levels.

We have a three-part interview process. You must complete a skills and knowledge test that will be sent to you via e-mail if invited to interview. Then, if you are selected, we will set up a live interview, either in person or by video. The final step will include a visit to our mine site located on Admiralty Island.
