DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES & SCOPE:

  • Install systems to meet the company’s revenue targets
  • Monitor and drive job costing, quality reporting, forecasting and productivity
  • Increase the speed of installations to maintain an optimal backlog level
  • Drive down installation costs and improve efficiency
    Meet budget for all installation expenses
  • Install systems with great quality and deliver an extraordinary customer experience
  • Focus on installation quality and doing things right the first time - exceed the company’s target for projects passing inspection the first time without corrections
  • Verifiable track record for managing a successful “injury free” safety program
  • Train all Foreman on safety protocol
  • Completing field administration: timesheets, quantity reports, purchases and the job diaries
  • Implement process and programs to promote Safety culture
  • Supervising and mentoring field personnel (30 electricians) as well as managing up to 4 subcontractors


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Electrical CA Journeyman License required
  • Must be willing to travel extensively within California
  • 10 years construction experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership position
  • 3 years of Solar Ground Mount Experience required (Nextracker experience is a plus)
  • Verifiable leadership qualities
  • History of safety management and risk mitigation
  • OSHA 30 Training preferred
  • NABCEP PV Installer Certification preferred

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Job requires working in all elements, depending on job location, time of year, heat, cold, rain, snow.
  • Must be able to utilize construction site sanitary facilities (Porta-Johns).
  • Employee's personal weight and personal tools cannot exceed weight limit of ladder (Class 1-250 lbs., Class 1A-300 lbs.).
  • Wear personal protective equipment (hard hat, safety glasses, and gloves always), respirator when required.
  • Climbing ladders and steep stairs, crawling, standing, stooping, bending, crouching, kneeling, sitting, reaching, able to routinely lift heavy objects more than 50 pounds and pushing and pulling of objects is required.
