Position Title : Accountant

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Number of Hours: Full time - 40 hours a week

Pay: $50,000 - $65,000 (based on experience)

POSITION SUMMARY:

Hello Adorn is seeking a full-time accountant. This person will be responsible for closely monitoring Hello Adorn’s financial health by managing and analyzing financial statements, payroll, budgets, tax compliance, and more. This is done while modeling and maintaining our brand’s culture and values.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Complete and analyze all aspects of accounting. This includes but not limited to:
  • Cash receipts and trade receivables
  • Cash disbursements, trade payables and purchase orders
  • Monthly bank reconciliations and cash flow management
  • Inventory management, purchase orders, tracking and reconciliation
  • Bi-weekly payroll, benefits administration, quarterly and annual compliance
  • Sales & use tax compliance, remittance, reconciliation, and reporting
  • General ledger reconciliations
  • Financial statement preparation
• Develop and maintain a documented system of accounting policies and operations.
• Calculate the annual budget and forecasts based on business revenue goals; report significant budget discrepancies to management.
• Recommend benchmarks that will be used to measure the company’s performance.
• Supervise the production of periodic financial reports; ensures that the reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles.
• Interpret and validate financial analysis.
• Perform other related duties as necessary or assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related field required.
• Entry to three years of related experience required.
• Experience in retail and manufacturing industries preferred.

KEY COMPETENCIES

• Experience with team management and leadership.
• Established written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrate organizational and time management skills.
• Proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite or similar softwares.
• Self-starter, ability to identify issues and resolve problems.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The accountant will be working in-studio, in an private office setting amongst 50 amazing co-workers.
