HelloFresh's newly acquired "Ready-to-Eat" brand "Factor", is looking for a Planning Strategy Manager to oversee network planning, operational capacity simulations and master scheduling responsibilities for the national network of manufacturing and fulfillment centers as well as co-packers. This role will maintain capacity plans and production schedules to ensure the efficient delivery of inventory, service and cost objectives. Responsibilities may also include developing and maintaining tools and systems as well as ensuring best practices are met across all site planning teams.

You will…

• Generate mid-range network balancing plans on a weekly basis using latest forecast and capacity inputs.
• Develop and enhance 3rd party and in-house built systems to facilitate efficient inventory and capacity management, customer service, and operational metrics.
• Co-lead with marketing team on monthly Sales & Operation Planning (S&OP) processes to be developed
• Work cross-functionally with inventory, procurement, maintenance and quality teams to ensure raw material availability and equipment capacity is maintained
• Work in partnership with menu planning to ensure weekly production capacity is taken into menu setting consideration
• Track and reconcile weekly/monthly metrics versus established targets. Review production performance and update planning rates to accurately reflect plant capabilities and available capacity.
• Lead or participate on special projects as required.
• Coach peers and site planning teams throughout the network and other networks on business process and system best practices.
• Inventory control and waste avoidance mindset is a must

• Experienced lean and continuous improvement
• Analytical and able to use data to solve operations problems
• Excellent with your communication skills
• Able to multi-task and prioritize tasks
• Self-directed and motivated for finding the most important problems to solve in the plants

At a minimum, you have...

• Engineering or supply chain degree required
• Lean/Six Sigma certifications and experience preferred
• Planning certification preferred
• 5 years of experience in multi-site industrial production, distribution, manufacturing, or processing environments
• Proficiency in project management tools, google suite, and Excel/GoogleSheets
• You have excellent verbal and written communication abilities (with technical and non-technical people)
