Position Purpose :
Supports the Maintenance Manager by tracking all reactive, predictive, and preventive maintenance work orders. Will order, maintain, and disperse all stocked items in the maintenance parts room that will benefit the plant's maintenance program and will perform general administrative duties.
Essential Functions :
- Supports the Maintenance Manager by controlling inventory, ordering consumables and parts.
- Responsible for the formulation and management of maintenance schedules.
- Responsible for ordering and receiving parts. Generating part usage for equipment and machinery by the [H] computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
- Create and enter, MRO requisitions and purchase orders into EAN / QAD for all departments
- Maintain and fill all purchase orders.
- Daily purchase card transaction and monthly purchase card reconciliation
- Responsible for distribution of the daily work orders.
- Scheduling PM's and other planned tasks with minimal impact on production.
- Administers the [H] CMMS controlling the predictive maintenance, preventive maintenance, and inventory systems, ensuring all data is accurate.
- Responsible for quoting all maintenance and production stocked parts, tracking cost to identify potential cost reductions.
- Receive bulk and cylinder gases and dry ice, as well as acting as a vender liaison.
- Resolution of invoicing issues with vendors and accounts receivable
- Coordinating and tracking outgoing parts to various work centers within the plant.
- Coordinating and tracking all third-party repair activities including parts, ship / receive dates.
- Responsible for stocking weld consumables on each product line.
- Works in conjunction with Engineering for tooling issues and needs for all Machining centers
- Track, order, and distribute all safety items of daily use (PPE)
- Liaison for CAP Vending Systems with supplier MSC for purchasing, system issues and user additions.
- Reorder / restock Hendrickson purchased supplies in vending machines for employee use
- Create requisition for all CAP Vending System purchases.
- Data entry and management of the Maintenance Technicians scheduled and unscheduled hours as it relates to various work centers in the plant.
- Responsible for the preparation of all monthly maintenance reports.
- Responsible for the administration and implementation of the TS16949 and ISO 14001 systems.
- Retrieve needed emergency supplies from local venders, as needed.
- Backup phone coverage as needed
- All other duties as assigned.
Education and Training
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) 3-5 years of direct experience of performing the essential functions listed in that section of this job description in a maintenance or operations environment.
Minimum Qualifications
LANGUAGE SKILLS :
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS :
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
REASONING ABILITY :
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to conduct instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
