YOUR ROLE

  • Canadian Service/Sales position assigned to maintain and grow Henkel ST/C&L products with Automotive Component Suppliers base in Ontario, Canada.
  • Extensive travel to service an existing customer base and generate additional sales in the region.
  • Travel and entertain as necessary - approximately up to 70% travel in this role.
  • Coordinates closely with other Henkel staff as needed to secure Technical and Business Support.
  • Maintain existing business by ensuring that existing accounts maintain and increase purchase of Henkel Products. Gathers information for new product ideas and introduces new products.
  • Improve quality of Henkel business by cross selling additional products/services, introducing product substitutions and making necessary pricing adjustments to ensure profitability of accounts.
  • Initiate value-added sales programs at existing customers through introduction of Henkel Equipment at Software.
  • At selected accounts conduct Performance Improvement, "voice of customer" and technical review meetings.
  • Implement business sector management and growth plans that are commensurate with the overall strategic directives of the business.
  • Aggressively solicit and capture new business at selected target accounts.
  • Having a strong knowledge of Automotive E-Coat and Metal Pre-Treatment, Metalworking, or Metalforming applications is a plus.
  • Recognize competitive forces and prepare sales strategies to offset them.
  • Participate in team selling approach at strategic accounts.
  • Strong Customer Relationships - from line staff to Executive level. Internal relationships include - ACS Management, Purchasing, Finance, and other sales colleagues.

YOUR SKILLS

  • University Degree Required - BS in engineering, science, or business.
  • Relevanttechnical and business background and/or training required. 
  • Previous Industrial Sales or Service Experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Automotive E-Coat, Metal Pre-Treatment, Metalworking, or Metalforming applications is preferred.
  • Strong communications skills, written (reports and presentations) and oral.
  • ExcellentComputer skills, MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Abilityto utilize database systems to maintain sales data and prepare reports.
  • Ability to travel up to 70% in this role - required.
