Warehouse Assistant/Driver

Works with Operations Manager to efficiently receive material and products, deliver and install school furniture and equipment. Help maintain strong relationships with clients and assist with maintaining the warehouse. Reports to Operations Manager – New England. 

Responsibilities: 

Warehouse Assistant:

• Inventory Handling: Move inventory and materials within facility.
• Order Preparation: Process inventory for delivery and prepare orders for shipment.
• Organization: Sort, organize, and store inventory in the appropriate location.
• Packaging: Package items securely and label them correctly.
• Quality Assurance: Scan delivered items to ensure quality.

Installer:

• Loading and unloading of school furniture. 
• Assembling and disassembling of all types and brands of school furniture. 
• Maintaining a clean and organized job site. 
• Provide a positive experience for clients. 
• Proper debris disposal. 
• Check & receive inbound freight as needed. 
• Help to maintain a clean and organized warehouse. 
• Proactively viewing install calendar to review any questions as needed. 
• Ensure all items on delivery slip are loaded for installations, including tools/hardware 
• Assist customers in showing them how the product works. 
• Communicate any punch list items, good/bad experiences with customers. 
• Provide job site photos of delivered/installed items or issues. 
• Return customer signed delivery slips.
• Communicate any hardware/tools needed for kits. 
• Complete expense reports monthly as needed. 
• Travel as needed. 
• Other duties as assigned by Operations Manager 

 Qualifications:  

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to drive a non-CDL truck (26’ max.).
• Self-motivated team player. 
• Experience with inventory software and databases.
• High attention to detail and patience. 
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. continuously.
