This position is a front-line representative of Methode where responsibilities must be conducted with professionalism, efficiency and accuracy. Responsibilities: Provide order status and information support to customers Enter customer purchase orders into accounting and scheduling system Act as customer representative to other internal departments Act as corporate representative to the customer Work with Sales Engineers to communicate all aspects of customer orders with customer Assist the Operations Manager as needed Enter parts orders and confirm with customers Generate quotes in business system from Service Reports Follow-up on customer to submit purchase orders for service quotes Convert quotes to order Prepare credit paperwork for review and approval Other duties as assigned Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent Previous customer service experience in electronics industry preferred Strong attention to detail Ability to complete tasks independently and meet strict deadlines Ability to seek out new tasks and welcome new challenges in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment Ability to communicate effectively with customers and various levels of management both written and verbal Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds Methode Electronics is an equal opportunity employer.
