What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Construction Laborer position at High Bar Renovations LLC?
High Bar Renovations, LLC is a licensed local construction company operating out of the Green Bay, Wi area. We are a growing company that is looking to add another member to our amazing team! High Bar Renovations performs work locally generally within an hour and ½ of Green Bay WI. Standard work hours are Monday through Friday 8AM-4PM with the option to work overtime when available.
Duties for the general construction laborer:
- Framing, concrete flatwork, roofing, siding, trim, flooring installation, drywall installation, window installation, demolition, and other duties as assigned.
- Perform physical labor on construction sites as directed by the supervisor
- Assist with the setup and cleanup of construction projects
- Operate hand and power tools to complete assigned tasks
- Load and unload construction materials from trucks
- Follow safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe work environment
- Assist with measuring, cutting, bending, painting, and assembling materials as needed
- Collaborate with the construction team to complete projects on time
-Lift up to 50lbs and be able to carry for a distance of 10 feet or more
-Stay on your feet and active for at least 8 hours per day
-Work in extreme temperatures or weather (hot/cold)
-Physical stamina and ability to perform strenuous tasks for extended periods of time
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who has a basic knowledge of construction principles with the desire to learn and advance themselves in our company as it grows. We aim to complete our projects with quality and efficiency and are looking for a candidate who strives to do the same.
The ideal candidate has:
-2 years’ experience in the construction industry (preferred, but not required)
-Familiarity with hand and power tools
-Strong work ethic and willingness to learn on the job
-Excellent teamwork and communication skills
This position is full-time non-exempt starting at $25.00-$30.00 per hour based on experience.
