Recovery Coach Supervisor
Program/ Location: Community Based Recovery Support program (CBRS)/ Plymouth
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or related field desired or two years’ experience in human services may be substituted
Pay Range: $28 per hour (Based on education & experience)
Status: Full time
Travel required, including mileage reimbursement

About Us
High Point provides a range of community-based services including Community Based Recovery Support (CBRS). CBRS was created to provide additional support to people as they work on their recovery within their communities. Often, clients who have been in an addiction treatment or Section 35 facility and are transitioning back into their communities' benefit from extra support.
High Point & Affiliated Organizations is a health and human service agency whose mission is to treat and prevent substance use disorders and mental illness. High Point has programs located throughout Southeastern Massachusetts offering a full continuum of care for substance use and mental health treatment, including inpatient, outpatient, residential, and community-based services. Recovery Coach Supervisor Requirements
- Must present as courteous and professional at all times
- Demonstrated flexibility and ability to perform multiple tasks
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to organize ideas in logical and clear fashion
- Proficient and knowledge of basic computer skills and software programs including the ability to learn, use and train HPAO`s electronic medical records
- Must have the ability to work with others in cooperative and collaborative manner
- An understanding of the relationship between substance use and mental health issues and/or self-help programs
- An understanding of boundaries and ethics
- Comply with Federal Regulations, 42 CFR Part 2, Substance Abuse
- Confidentiality Regulations and HIPAA Regulations
- Certification in the HPAO approved de-escalation program
- Expertise in recovery coaching.
- Capacity to provide performance support for recovery coaches
- Familiarity with recovery community, services and resources.
- Capability of building an effective coach-recoveree relationship.
- Cross-cultural skills, and experience with culturally diverse populations.
- Experience in staff supervision and trainings, performance appraisal, recruitment, hiring, evaluation
- Participation in annual TB screening
- CPR Certification
Recovery Coach Supervisor Duties & Responsibilities

Compliance and working knowledge of applicable HPAO policies and procedures

Provide direct client services, carry a minimal caseload, assessment and treatment planning skills, proven case management abilities

Interact with local and community service networks in a manner that enhances the public relations of the facility, and increases community services

Coordinate with other departments/facilities to enhance and ensure quality care

Attends all programmatic, organizational and committee meetings as assigned

Collaborate and participate in meetings with other community organizations to enhance communication and service delivery within the community

Provide group/individual supervision to program staff and maintain supervisory notes and staff evaluations.

Facilitate Recovery Coach Academy and Ethical Consideration trainings for recovery coaches as assigned.

Must become a Recovery Coach Professional Facilitator (RCP-F) within 1 year of employment.

Advertising, interviewing, hiring and training of new staff.

Manage payroll, time off requests, approve timesheets

Assure accurate billing by staff members and the ability to manage accordingly

Develop and recommend Performance Improvement Goals and objectives for staff members

Routinely review clients charts to ensure that the structure and substance are in accord with licensing and accreditation standards

Meet with Program Director regularly to review all program process issues and all issues pertinent to quality care and organizational health and viability

Recovery Coach Supervisor Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or related field desired or two (2) years’ experience in human services may be substituted.
- Recovery Coach trained and Recovery Coach Supervisor trained.
Salary : $28
