General Description:

Assist in developing innovative, reusable digital media to support various digital asset-based projects such as video for High Forum, video for social media, video for website, pictures to showcase events, pictures for professional headshots, etc. The Digital Media Specialist works collaboratively with the corporate Marketing Manager to capture the essence of High’s projects and coworkers to tell stories to various audiences. The Digital Media Specialist should be motivated, energetic, and detail-oriented, providing input to content across various outlets. The Digital Media Specialist will work collaboratively with the corporate Marketing Manager to support business unit leaders in the strategic business units (SBU's) and shared resource units (SRU's), marketing strategists, key users, and other team members. The Digital Media Specialist will be responsible for creating, editing, and managing a variety of multimedia content. The Digital Media Specialist is appointed by and reports to the Marketing Manager.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Videography and Photography: Capture high-quality video and photo content for various projects, including promotional materials, social media, and events.
  • Video and Photo Editing: Edit videos and photos to produce polished, professional content that aligns with our brand standards.
  • Script Writing: Develop compelling scripts for video content, ensuring clear and engaging storytelling.
  • Social Media Content Creation: Create and manage content for our social media platforms, including short videos, graphics, and photos.
  • Project Management: Coordinate with team members and clients to ensure timely delivery of projects.
  • Creative Input: Contribute innovative ideas for new content and initiatives.
  • Equipment Management: Maintain and manage multimedia equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition.
  • Stay Updated: Keep up to date with the latest trends and technologies in multimedia production.
  • Assist in gathering specifications and requirements as needed.

Marginal Job Functions:

  • Take ownership of daily project needs and communications as directed by the Marketing Manager.
  • Communicate project status and deliverables with supervisor.
  • Manage timelines and communication tasks as needed. Leverage project management reporting tools.
  • Perform routine maintenance as needed.
  • Other tasks as needed for successful project completion.
  • Be a known asset for being ears and eyes on good content to support High’s strong reputation

Experience, Training and/or Education Required:

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in media production, film, digital media/communications, or a related field.
  • 3 years of experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, Photoshop, and Lightroom or equivalent software programs.
  • Strong scriptwriting skills with the ability to create engaging content.
  • Experience in social media content creation and management.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Experience with website administration, content management, and support is a plus.
  • Experience with motion graphics and animation.
  • Knowledge of SEO and digital marketing strategies.
  • Strong communication and writing skills.
  • Ability to communicate directly with peers, managers, and business unit key users while completing project tasks.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple timelines and complete tasks quickly within the constraints and timelines.

License, Certificates or Registration Required:

  • Licensed drone pilot.
