Job Description
The Lithographic Pressman in Dallas-Fort Worth, TX, is a key member of the production team responsible for producing high-quality printed labels. This role requires operating a lithographic press while ensuring product quality, adhering to safety standards, and maintaining press efficiency. The Lithographic Pressman will also monitor and adjust press conditions throughout production to ensure conformance to customer specifications and organizational standards.

Responsibilities
- Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all plant and corporate safety rules, procedures, and guidelines. Report any safety concerns immediately to supervisors.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure quality control by performing all required quality checks for product specifications, including visual and functional checks (e.g., color, registration, ink adhesion).
- Press Operations: Operate lithographic presses to produce high-quality printed products that meet customer specifications.
- Press Setup & Make-Ready: Set up presses according to job tickets and product specifications, ensuring proper use of print cylinders, inks, substrates, tooling, and anilox rollers.
- Efficiency & Waste Control: Maintain consistent quality during production runs, ensuring minimal waste and optimal press efficiency.
- Maintenance: Perform basic maintenance tasks, including cleaning plates, cylinders, ink pans, and lubricating the press.
- Data Entry & Reporting: Accurately input material usage and time data into the GlobeTek system.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and organized work area by completing daily housekeeping duties.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience: 1 years of experience or training as a lithographic printing press operator.
- Skills: Ability to operate lithographic presses, perform make-readies, conduct quality checks, and maintain equipment.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on quality and precision during production runs.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects as necessary.
