POSITION:

* Bus Aide

* 2024 - 2025 school year

LOCATION:

* District-wide

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Experience working with special needs children preferred.

* Must hold a valid Ohio Student Monitor or Educational Aide Permit.

* Must have or be willing to complete appropriate training including Restraint Training.

* Must have successful completion of BCI & FBI background checks.

* Must have negative pre-employment drug screen.

* Must be willing and able to carry out the duties of the Job Description.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Assist the bus driver in providing safe transportation of students with special needs.

* Maintain conduct on the bus.

* Secure passengers in their seats and know the proper use of securing devices for safety restraints, wheelchairs and seatbelts.

* Assist students and driver in loading and unloading the bus.

* Report any concerns regarding students to the driver.

* Know bus evacuation procedures and be physically capable to evacuate students in an emergency.

* Be able to complete any additional duties as assigned by Supervisor/Designee.

SUPERVISOR:

* Transportation Supervisor, Building Principal and Superintendent.
