Hillandale Farms is in search a Coordinator-Logistics to join our team in Bozrah, CT Location
Essential Job Function
- Assist Manager in coordinating all inbound and outbound scheduling.
- Assign and communicate daily/weekly route selections to all Fleet Drivers.
- Coordinate inter-company equipment movement.
- Address errors to promote customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate specialty shipping arrangements when needed to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Monitor purchase orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracy.
- Track and follow-up on shipments/pickups to ensure OTIF (On Time in Full).
- Prepare BOL’s and invoices destined for the Accounts Receivables Team.
- Occasional weekend work tracking shipments and needed customer communication.
- Performs other job related duties as required to meet operational needs.
Qualification
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous Shipping/Receiving or Logistics experience preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong attention to detail. Bi-lingual preferred.
- Possess an understanding of geographical territories and traffic patterns.
- Possess quick critical thinking and problem-solving skills as well as the ability to manage several complex projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to anticipate work needs and interact professionally with internal and external customers.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged sitting, standing, bending, squatting, twisting, pushing pulling, lifting overhead.
- Must be able to lift up to 25lbs
