Driver - Feed Delivery

Essential Job Functions 

• Short and intermediate local routes delivering feed to Hillandale Farm sites
• Responsible for loading, delivery and unloading of feed
• Ensure contents are properly secured for transport to intended destination
• Complete pre and post trip inspections
• Complete all necessary delivery documents 
• Other responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications 

• High School Diploma preferred but not required.
• CDL-A Driver License credentials with current Medical Examiner’s Certificate.
• Ability to drive manual transmission
• Alert, focused and detail orientated
• Reliable, dependent work ethic
• Minimum of 1 year driving tractor-trailer.
• Ability to maneuver safely and drive around objects at the farms.
• Ability to walk up and down stairs.
• Able to lift 40-60 lbs. 
• Repetitive lifting, bending and stair climbing.
• Possible extended hours and/or weekend hours to meet operational needs. 
• Dusty Environment. 
• Conscious of surroundings at all times.
• Able to follow instructions closely and perform multiple tasks as directed.
• Attention to detail needed as well as aware of surroundings at all times.
• Ability to read and write in English and to communicate and work closely with employees at all levels of the company.
• Must have good sensory abilities including sight, hearing and touch in order to perform job duties.
