General Purpose
- Scheduling of transportation
- Remain informed of scheduled transportation needs (Dr. appointments, admissions & discharges)
- Arrange transport with state agencies (TN Carriers & SE Trans)
- Contact family’s to arrange transportation
- Schedule van transport
- Transport patients to and from appointments/admission
- Understand van operation & safety
- Wheel patients to and from van for scheduled appointments
- Understand and be proficient in how to properly secure patients in the van for transport
- Be able to assist patient care needs as they may arise while transporting
- Maintain an acceptable driving records
- Maintain the van in a clean and presentable manner
- Fuel van as necessary
