Essential Job Functions

• Practice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment and follow MSDS and OSHA standards.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
• Receive order tickets from servers and call them into the kitchen
• Ensure orders are being prepared with the correct priority 
• Ensure all orders are being prepared according to menu specifications
• Check dishes before delivery for accuracy, presentation and temperature
• Ability to read the line and assist with calling out ticket items when necessary
• Knowledge of Food safety and food handling procedures
• Practical food knowledge and knife skills
• Assist the kitchen with any other job-related actives/ help where needed
• Maintain station with fresh product, this includes being responsible for preparing and assembling all expo related items (e.g., Lettuce, Tomato, Onion set up, specialty condiments, salsa, pickle spears…ext.)
• Ability to prep menu items (follow recipes) daily to assist the cooks when needed
• Ability to follow directions and take orders
• Transfer important information between the kitchen and the wait staff (e.g., when a customer has a particular request)
• Outstanding coordination and multi-tasking abilities
• Demonstrate a customer-oriented approach
• Previous Expeditor Experience is preferred

Position Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous food and beverage experience required or equivalent training

Work Environment and Context

• Requires standing and moving for extended periods.
• Frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 25 lbs.
